Dr. Michael Heffelfinger

Dr. Michael Heffelfinger is a native of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Texas A&M School of Dentistry and a Certification in IV Sedation. Dr. Mike is an advocate for community betterment which is one of the reasons he started Legacy Dental in 2010. He enjoys hobbies that involve fixing or rebuilding projects and spending time with his wife and their daughters.

Dr. Mohit Patel

Dr. Mohit Patel is a Dallas native who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors of excellence in general dentistry. Dr. Patel’s favorite thing about dentistry is that it combines his passions for art and science with the ability to work with his hands. His conservative and biomimetic style means he engineers dentistry to save the maximum amount of natural tooth structure and then restore teeth to a more natural, long-lasting state. In a world that is often rushed and hurried, Dr. Patel strives to provide compassionate, conservative, and individualized care to each patient. Dr. Patel often states that he loves the creativity and artistry of modern dentistry. He enjoys attending dental expositions and conferences to keep current with new developments in dentistry and incorporating the latest techniques into his practice. He has received several continuing education certificates in sedation and management of pediatric patients to ensure that no patient is ever turned away. When not at work, you will often find him hitting the gym or exploring local trails. He is a self-proclaimed home cook and loves whipping up new dishes. He also enjoys spending time at home with friends and family or spending hours scrolling through Netflix!

Dr. Usman Chaudhry

Dr. Usman Chaudhry was born and raised on the East coast before making his way down to Southeast Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his Master’s in Molecular Biology from Tulane University. Dr. Chaudhry then earned another Master’s degree in Public Health, as well as his Doctor of Medicine Dentistry degree from Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. Outside of work, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys spending time with his wife, Bisma, traveling, and watching and playing basketball.

Dr. Newton Pan

Dr. Newton Pan is a dedicated general dentist with expertise in restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed post graduate training from the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Pan believes one of the easiest and impactful ways to improve overall health is to first improve his patient’s dental health. He is a friendly, warm, and compassionate dentist with a gentle touch. For anyone struggling with their health, he believes in a patient driven, collaborative approach to dentistry and wants to help his patients find the right treatment solutions. Dr. Pan considers it an honor to care for patients and does so with a wholehearted sense of duty and commitment to not only their health but bettering the health of the community. Dr. Pan stays up to date on everything dentistry through countless hours of continuing education. He is a sports enthusiast and loves basketball and football. He also enjoys learning languages and can speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and is currently learning Spanish.

Dr. Mira Dao

Meet our Orthodontist, Dr. Dao! Dr. Mira Dao loves working with children and adults to transform their smiles. Passionate about everything art-related since an early age, she is always excited to utilize her creative skills to design a tailored, radiant smile that her patients can feel proud of. Dr. Dao is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master’s in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Afterward, she went to Roseman University of Health Sciences for the Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency program. In her spare time, Dr. Dao enjoys being outdoors and pursuing various creative endeavors related to art and music. She also loves yoga, traveling, reading, singing, and gardening.

Dr. Alexander Dao

Dr. Alexander Dao is a dedicated orthodontist who comes from a proud family tradition of general dentists and dental specialists. His father is a general dentist, his wife and younger brother are fellow orthodontists, his older brother is a pediatric dentist, and his in-laws are also general dentists. Dr. Dao combines clinical excellence with a deep understanding of the patient experience to create beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Dao earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. He later earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology and completed his specialized orthodontic training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Before beginning his dental and orthodontic training, Dr. Dao completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where he double-majored in Biology and Economics and minored in Psychology. This diverse academic background allows him to approach orthodontics from both a scientific and patient-focused perspective while understanding the profound effect a confident smile can have on a person’s self-esteem. Outside the office, Dr. Dao enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Vishwam Patel

Dr. Vishwam Patel received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He received his certificate in Biomedical Sciences the following year. He attended Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Patel has great respect for his profession and spends countless hours studying, taking continuing education courses, and applying advances in dentistry to his practice. He regularly attends advanced postdoctoral study programs, including courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and comprehensive treatment. Dr. Patel’s commitment to continuing professional education helps ensure that his patients receive high-quality dental care. He is committed to providing comprehensive care, making dental visits comfortable, and helping every patient leave with a smile. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys volunteering at his local temple and teaching children about oral health. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring local restaurants.

Dr. Natalya Lesnikovskaya

Dr. Natalya Lesnikovskaya began her academic journey studying choral conducting and classical piano at the Odessa Musical College in Ukraine. In 1989, her family emigrated to New York, where she continued her education and discovered her passion for dentistry. She earned her pre-dental degree in science from Brooklyn College and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2000. Since then, Dr. Lesnikovskaya has remained committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, state-of-the-art dental care. Dedicated to clinical excellence, she regularly attends continuing education seminars to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association. In addition to her dental expertise, Dr. Lesnikovskaya is a certified master in Reiki and Karuna healing arts, reflecting her holistic approach to patient care. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, swimming, knitting, and gardening.

Dr. Daniel Campos

Dr. Daniel Campos, a native of Dallas, Texas, brings a warm and welcoming approach to dentistry. Dr. Campos is a Marine Corps veteran and attributes his discipline, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to his time in the service. He completed his undergraduate studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he majored in Biology. He then returned home to attend Texas A&M School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. What Dr. Campos enjoys most about dentistry is the uniqueness of every patient’s teeth and care needs. He tailors his approach to each patient, listens closely to their concerns, and collaborates with them to develop a treatment plan that best fits their needs. Outside the office, Dr. Campos enjoys modifying his car and spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys sports, documentaries, stand-up comedy, and crime podcasts.

Dr. Mark "Ziggy" Vrana

Dr. Mark Vrana is our Orthodontist who provides services in our Beaumont office. Dr. Vrana earned his dental degree at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and specialized in orthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center. He is a member of the OKU National Dental Society and an American Board of Orthodontics board-certified orthodontist. Dr. Vrana provides specialty services including traditional braces, clear aligners, and interceptive orthodontic treatment.
