A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Raven discovered her passion for Pilates over the course of her classical ballet education. Throughout her dance education, Raven was drawn to different cross-training regimens in order to supplement the physical demands of her dance training. During her time as a student at SMU she participated in a Vbarre master class held by Vbarre creator and fellow SMU Dance alumna Veronica Combs, an experience which sparked her appetite to learn more about the Pilates system, fitness education and its application to dance movement. Shortly thereafter Raven completed her Pilates education through Power Pilates and has gone on to complete several other trainings including Vbarre, TRX and Xtend Barre. Raven is grateful to have found a career where she can combine her passion for dance and Pilates and looks forward to sharing this passion with the DFW fitness community!

Hey everyone! I’m Ashlyn, a Southern California transplant with a background in Kinesiology and pre-physical therapy - I’m also a huge foodie, an animal lover, and incredibly passionate about anything related to the outdoors! After completing my teaching certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) I spent two years as a PT’s Aide implementing Pilates into my patients physical therapy programs. I then decided to take my career on the road - traveling the world training clients in both strength and rehabilitation while continuing my education under some truly amazing teachers! While I am Classically certified and obtain an additional cert specifically for dancers, I consider my way of teaching to be “classical fusion”. I pay homage to tradition while keeping an open mind to the ever-changing world that is fitness and consider myself a forever student. I encourage my clients to understand that good things take time and nothing happens over night - it isn't just about looking good but feeling well. I am a Pilates instructor, a personal trainer and bodyworks specialist with the heart of a yogi. Above all I support big goals, little victories, and helping you to find a bit more balance in your life.
