  David Kim Inverted Gastric Sleeve

  The David Kim Inverted Gastric Sleeve™, or Kim Gastric Sleeve, begins as a typical gastric sleeve procedure, however, ends with a special technique and crucial second step that is different from the process utilized by all other weight loss surgeons. This second step requires that the surgeon invert the staple line, and then suture the outer covering of the stomach over it. This extra measure provides the patient's stomach with an additional layer of protection against stretching and leaks.

  ReShape Balloon

  The ReShape Balloon is composed of two medical grade balloons designed as a short-term, non-surgical weight-loss solution for patients who need to lose 20 to 40 pounds. While the patient is lightly sedated, the deflated balloons are inserted and then inflated with a sterile saline solution.   Gastric Bypass

  Gastric Bypass Surgery is the oldest and one of the most popular bariatric procedures offered to patients. A small egg sized pouch is detached from the stomach and connected to the lower part of the small intestine. This pouch can only hold a small portion of food which will limit the amount of fat the body can absorb.

  Duodenal Switch

  Biliary Pancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch, also known as BPD or DS, decreases the size of the stomach to create a smaller stomach pouch which restricts the amount of food that can be consumed. In addition, the small intestine is altered to make it possible for bile and pancreatic juices to meet digested food closer to the middle or the end of it. This in turn results in less calories and nutrients being absorbed by the body.
