He earned his M.D. at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and also completed his internship at the same institution. Dr. Whitman completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at Scott and White Clinic in Temple, Texas. Dr. Whitman is married and the proud father of two daughters. Dr. Whitman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
